With over a decade of experience in the AI industry, I mainly focus on leading efforts to develop companies' AI capabilities.
I have broad experience in AI ranging from developing models to creating and implementing product strategies, building and leading AI teams, and working in customer-facing roles.
EDUCATION
I did my Ph.D. at Åbo Akademi University in Finland related to machine learning, NLP, and analytics.
In addition to this I have a M.S.c. in Software Engineering also from Åbo Akademi University.

Founder and CEO at StageZero Technologies
January 2016 - March 2024
I worked as the CEO of the AI company StageZero Technologies that I co-founded. I lead the team in developing two technologies for collecting and annotating training data for machine learning models.
AI Scientist at Silo AI
Oct 2017 - June 2018
Developed unique ML & DL models for customers within NLP (text and speech segments). Worked as technical lead and assisted with sales on multiple AI automation projects for customers.
Data Scientist at Almax Analytics
September 2016 - September 2017
Built ML & DL models for predicting stock market movements by reading news and extracting stock market signals from text using a Python stack. My work included agile development of algorithms and backend code.
PhD Researcher at Åbo Akademi
July 2013 - December 2017
Worked as a researcher in AI and analytics. Built state-of-the-art ML & DL models and analytics systems in cooperation with a security company for classifying harmful websites for parental control systems using AI.
Also worked on a project for extracting information from news texts that could be used to predict stock market movements using AI and analytics.
AI Researcher and Teacher at Arcada University of Applied Sciences
August 2011 - December 2016.
Worked as a researcher and a teacher in the computer science department.
